My
name is Tara Clements, I have the joy of planning our Maine Coon's lifestyle. Then there
is my Mum, Joyce who designs and builds all of our cat runs; constructing them to
exceptionally high standards for comfort and entertainment. We have owned and bred Maine
Coon cats since 1991, and feel that to do the job right you mustn't be distracted by many
different breeds of cats, anyway, once you have been owned by a Maine Coon cat other
breeds seem dull by comparison. Our specialities are Brown Tabbies and Silver Tabbies with
and without white, consequently we have managed to attain warm rustic browns and clear
bright silvers. We take great pride in having bred many of our breeding and show cats. Our
ongoing aims are to mix the new looks with old strengths, and so far this has proven with
many excellent show reports. (Look at the show page.) We register our kittens mainly with
the Felis Britannica (FIFe) but can also register with the GCCF. My cattery is situated near Gainsborough
in Lincolnshire nestled in 260 acres of ancient woodland, has been Veterinary inspected,
achieving excellent standards. We are at present testing our breeding cats for HCM
(Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy).

This has since been built on further, the cats now enjoy a largecommunial run full of shelves, overhead beams and an enormous scratch post.
Needless to say, very very happy cats!!

This is a communial chalet and run for some of our breeding girls.
This is a photo of the Retirement Run.
The garden section is over 60 feet long by 16 feet wide, I have planted this
area up with cat friendly plants, grasses etc. There is a patio for the cats to bask in the sun. Joyce has put in
lots of shelves and overhead beams for extra interest. The shed that is
in the garden area will be made into a play shed with tunnels, toys
and lots of balls. The main enclosed area with shed is 12 feet by 16
feet, this is for sleeping and getting out of the bad weather, there will
also be scratch posts and more toys in here to keep them occupied.
